I have always wanted my clients to have many options and thus feel comfortable when making one of the most important decisions.
By 2015, I was no longer winning awards from just one company, but from two or three of them, I was in the top 10 Insurance salespeople. But not everything was rosy, since Venezuela was going through a very big economic situation, and sales began to drop, and criminality began to increase… resulting in two kidnappings of my person, putting my life in danger. . For this reason I made the decision to move to California and take on new challenges.
Upon arriving in San Francisco, California in 2016, I began to study English, and also to get to know the city of San Francisco, Oakland, and the entire Bay Area, since a Real Estate Agent must know the area where they will work.
By 2019, I was already studying at Kaplan for my Real Estate course, and by December of that same year I was already finishing the course. In January 2020 I was already sending my documents so that I could present for the Real Estate exam before the State of CALIFORNIA, but the Covid-19 pandemic arrived, and that same year everything began to close and I could not present for the exam until April 2021, it should be noted that I did not pass it the first time, between nerves, fatigue from driving from Oakland to Sacramento, and stress since the exam was taken in English, from there I continued to the second opportunity and I did not pass it either, I got 69% and had to get a minimum 70% to pass it. So since I am a challenging person, I gave myself a single week to study and pass the exam, otherwise I told myself that I would work on something else!!!!…. So for May 20, 2021, I left well prepared and drove from Oakland to Sacramento to take my exam; Before entering the car I meditated and told myself, you are a Realtor, answer all the questions like a Realtor, you are already a Realtor and in addition to that you already have an excellent level of English, so Carlos Alberto Montes Gil passed the Real Estate for the state of California. YUUUUUUU!!!!!
When obtaining the License as a Realtor, I had to associate myself with a Real Estate company and so my beginnings are at Coldwell Banker Realty Oakland, where I continue to learn every day about Contracts, new laws, reforms, sales techniques, and many more courses.
